If you mean the revenge of jammys sets, the songs are mixed together but there are track marks for them, its just that if you play them track by track they start and end abruptly, as they are cutting into and out of a continuous mix. But the tracking is done well so in some instances the problem is not obvious...on others though it is quite obvious particularly for a lack of fade out at the end and instead an abrupt cutoff.

Cool. Thanks for this info. I don't mind the abrupt stops since 90% of my listening these days happens when I drive. I just put a CD in and let it play through. When I'm at home I try to catch up on radio sows or podcasts.

There is no Part 2, and no such title has ever been announced (as far as I'm aware), but one must assume they originally intended to make one, although by now maybe plans have changed. :?:

There are a number of excellent Jammy$ comps in the works from Dub Store that will see the light of day a little later this year. Good things come to those who wait.

Just for information, that is what was on the DVD in VP's King At The Controls (Essential Hits From Reggae's Digital Revolution 1985-1989) compilation, and then again included with Reggeae Anthology: Roots Reality and Sleng Teng.

Good news think its going to be a very limited pressing especially if its a double vinyl LP , Do you think the sound quality maybe be better then the CD`s and The 45`s they have already release of the same songs? Not that there was a sound quality issue was just curious also would the King Jammys Dubplates they released be making in onto a double Lp?

I only have Dub Store titles on CD, so I am not experienced with that. I assume they do quality pressings, so it would be up to how they master it, the source would be the same.

Note that this 2-LP has a selection of the tracks, since the original release was a 2-CD (with vocals on the first disc and dubs on the second), here the first three sides are vocals and the last side dubs.

This was orignally called Part 1, and it is rumoured that the series will now, after this re-release, finally continue with more volumes (where I guess some of the previous 45 only tracks will be compiled). :)

There are a number of volumes to come out this year, and while I can't share the track listings, I can say that both the sound quality and track selections are stellar. I am quite close to the person doing the liner notes.

Jammy$ output will truly see justice with these releases, they're top-class stuff, no bluff.
