Sooo... anyone hear the new Hugh Tahir Mundell album?

So, I've been seeing this promoted on Facebook.

The production is nice. I like the idea. Nice to have Addis on there, and to have the sons of Augustus Pablo and Hugh Mundell together.

Man, the singing though.

Not always a good idea to follow in one's father's footsteps.

The singing is horrible and the production value is ****. What a horrific sounding POS.

I just checked it out and likewise kind of underwhelmed by the singing of Hugh Mundell Jr and honestly the whole thing kind of reeks of being billed as something it is not. For instance the use of "Hugh Mundell" as artist when actually it presumably is his son. Also while Addis Pablo is given big billing, a check of the track list shows he is only on effectively one song (one song plus two dub versions), which is kinda slim for full co-billing, so maybe he is billed as such to attract attention to the release? Or is he playing uncredited on all the other tracks?

On the other hand, listened to all the dub clips and there is some nice stuff there, and actually the vocals might grow on me, especially a couple songs there.

one love

I like some rhythm tracks but the vocals are so unbelievable off-key, plus, they don't fit the chords at all in some cases. And putting 'High Mundell'' on the cover is very cheeky indeed......
