There's still a lot of active repress labels but the pace of new releases had gone down a bit. That's no surprise since nobody could keep up with the pace of a few years ago.

Justin Hinds + Wailers "Travel With Love" was reissued on a double 45RPM vinyl a couple of months ago

It is a masterpiece and the reissue, done with the full collaboration and assistance of Norman Schoenfeld (brother of Nighthawk founder Robert Schoenfeld) and Leroy Pierson (Nighthawk co-founder), is marvelous.

Check it out, it is a must for any serious Reggae fan!!!

Must have this, especially for the bonus tracks.

Also, Guillaume, I saw your name on the Decware forums. I assume it was you. :)

I recently received my SupenZen from Steve. I'm loving that amp, you still have yours?

it's a double 45rpm press on 200g vinyl with a gatefold cover made with heavy as lead cardboard

the guy was able to use original 1/2 inch master tapes

those things cost a ton of money

And if you want to see something crazy expensive, check this

I would love to see some collections of Black Roots reissues on CD. I was listening to Sugar's Dancehall Showcase II tonight and that is so good. More along these lines would be great. I know a lot of his stuff is still floating around on vinyl and CD but I'm surprised that some of the higher quality reissue labels have not dug up some harder to find 12" singles to cobble together to make an album.

Following your advice, I bought this LP.

I must say that this LP is a true gem : Justin Hinds voice and Dominoes band are marvelous and the mix/mastering is perfect.

Not cheap but quality like this has a cost.
