anyone used DUB VENDOR lately?

Postby j j » Thu Jun 16, 2016 2:36 am

Wow what amazing service , ordered 3 records on the 10th June & they arrived all the way to NZ in 5 days.
They also provide an email to say when it was shipped so the customer knows exactly what's going on.
They really do provide a professional service.

Fantastic

Bloody expensive postage though.
They wanted 10 quid to post 1 cd to Auckland.

I know, I know, Giab I had a moan to Lol many months ago about the same thing, even did a comparison of other UK reggae mail order shipping charges to show how much more DV's postage was for a single item. In some cases almost triple...but their shipping costs become equal or lower when ordering 3 items or more.

I buy my single items from Juno/SOTU or Jah Waggys as it's much cheaper from them for 1 item.

But still 5 days to NZ man, that's pretty quick :D

Anyway giab you could sell your house for NZ$1 mill +, buy a new one somewhere else for a reasonable price & still have plenty left over for postage charges aye? :D

cheers

Really wanted to use Dubvendor to purchase this Ras Michael Zion disc Cd which they have priced at £20.00 with no free postage which is the same price as the vinyl LP.

After further checks I see other vendors sellng the same Ras Michael Cd sealed for £11.00. Is this an error?

Ive used DV for well over 25 years for both mail order and in the retail stores of the past and cannot fault their knowledge, service and helpfulness!

Big up to John, Philip, Gaffa, Oxman, Face, Redman, Noel, Pat (who remembers her-used to run the mail order in the 90s!) and of course Lol-all a great bunch of honest and hard working people who have helped to put a serious dent in my bank balance over the years but at the same time filled up my racks with some top vinyl!

If I said 30 years then I would have been 10 years old JJ which means that I wouldn't have spent my pocket money on sweets and toys!

Ordered the reissued version of Pablo's King David's Melody from Dub Vendor yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning. Great service as always - the cd's not bad either :D
