LP's I've recently purchased

Rebelution - Count Me In - Not too popular among the B&F community, but I enjoy them immensely. Great vibes, an organic band with great guitar and horn work. 8/10

Yabby You - Deeper Roots II - Better than volume I. 10/10

Lee Scratch Perry - Back At The Controls - I cannot deny the production values, atmosphere and the effort. Heavy as anything I've heard recently, but the songs leave much to be desired. 7/10

Addis Pablo - In My Fathers House - I've previously posted my thoughts on this instant classic. 9.5/10

Martin Campbell & The HiTech Roots Dynamics - West Kingston Dub - I rate everything Mr. Campbell does, and this one is no different. 8.5/10

Errol Dunkley - Showcase - Iroko (hasn't reached me yet)
V/A - Top Ranking DJ Sessions Volume II - Joe Gibbs (love me Gibbo  )

looking forward to picking these up soon.
Paragons - The Paragons - Sly & Robbie Production Island LP reissue. ( I bought this previously but when LP turned up there was a Trevor Sparks record inside)
Augustus Pablo - Born To Dub You - VP

Lee Perry - Roaring Lion
Nice & heavy selection of Scratch rarities, good sound quality.

Zvuloon Dub System - Anbessa Dub
Special project combining Ethiopian lyrics with traditional style roots reggae, very much worth checking.

Prince Hammer - World War Dub
Solid selection of heavy dub versions, excellent pressing.

Thats all for 2014 till now...

Hollie Cook -Twice - Maybe it will grow on me, but I wish I'd spent this $ on the new Robert Sanchez produced Alpheus. 6.5/10

Midnite - Beauty For Ashes - (CD) No, I'm not one of those Midnite fanatics who buy all their releases. 8) I bought this one on the strength of the song "Same Boat We". Strong, consistent set. 8/10

What's the word on this? I've never heard this album before. Release date, label????? I assume John Holt was not involved. Am I correct?

Looking forward to Black Roots "Ghetto Feel". Release date September 23rd.

I am pretty sure john holt was in the paragons who recorded that Island record, I think "man next door" was the big song from it and as versioned on raiders of the lost dub. could be wrong but that's how I remember it. mid or early 80s I think.
