It came on a JA press Black Roots 7" a good few years ago, must be at least 6 years ago or more, but without a dub... I used to have it in stock but sold out a long time ago and I'm not sure if we'll see it again now that vinyl pressing's all but finished in JA...

I see that one quite often in local stores here in Stockholm. Can pick it up next time I see it if interested. Don't know when that could be though. But am I remembering it wrong if I say that Archive Records also reissued it? I've got the Black Roots 7" myself so it's the only one I'm certain of.

Was there an earlier issue of this one than the 00's issue?

Yeah. There's an if and but though. I'll leave for vacation soon so I won't have time to go and search for it the coming three weeks and I'm not certain it is there. But I'm almost 100% certain I've seen it in two separate stores no too long ago. I'll get back to you when when/if I find it. Please send me a PM in three weeks when I'm back in Stockholm and can hit some stores during the typical record route.

i know 2 (re)press on Black Roots 7", both with a different vocal tune on B side,
from 1999 with green Africa on label (distributed by a French shop)
and 2001 with red Africa
i don't know if there is an original issue and dub version..?

hope there will be a decent reissue with a version, like Patate Records did recently with 2 Sugar tunes (Murder & Ghetto-ology) and another from Jr Reid..

I don't think it came out originally on single but it's on the Original Foreign Mind LP, and about 5/6 different cuts are out on this riddim by various artists (e.g G Isaacs - If you see my mary). There is a thread on BAF somewhere with them all listed
