It says "on the way" at Ginza (don't know if that is accurate), you can't beat that price:

I actually mailed them on Ginza just to check if they had a more specific date. But the reply they gave me was that their retailer couldn't give them a date as well. And problem is I already pre-payed it when pre-ordered at bengans.com. Otherwise I´d would probably check propermusic. So I reckon there is something failing in the distribution here.

I've been listening to the 3 cd set all day and I have to say it's excellent. Plus the artwork and boolket are nice.

Review of the new 'Yabby You - Dread Prophesy' - in Rolling Stone magazine

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/albumreviews/yabby-you-dread-prophecy-20150317

This well put together Shanachie release is very reasonably priced ($21 on Amazon) for a 3CD Collectors Box Set with 29 page book containing rare tracks and previously unpublished photos & stories about Yabby You. Some of these stories contain previously little-known episodes of reggae history (that some may find highly controversial & challenging to conventional mentalities - within and without the reggae communities) i.e.. Yabby dropping the 'stupit religion' card on Bob Marley & Bob having to admit Yabby was right.

I have to say even the stuff I already have, like most of disc 1, it still has great sound and I like the sequencing. One thing about Jesus Dread, great as it is, is that I don't always want to listen to 4 versions of the same rhythm consecutively. So this has a nicer flow, I think.

The Swaby track is earth-shattering IMHO

Only listened to once so far, need to sit down and listen to the whole thing again. Excellent release. I would love to see some more Yabby You releases on Shanachie and/or other artists anthologized in the same manner. I need to grab that Augustus Pablo boxset at some point...

Recently got both this and the Pablo Shanachie sets. Have only gone through this Yabby set so far and I love it. The way its put together shows a lot of respect for Yabby, his music, and the musicians and other folks involved in the whole production. I can't help but think its extremely valuable for those that are coming to Yabby's music just now and possibly can't get their hands on B&F's earlier titles. I recommend this box set to any reggae and overall music fan.

Yeah, I wish there was an inexpensive way to get some of those OOP B&F titles. If there was a way to at least reissue them as paid FLAC/WAV downloads, I'd be happy. I did get the "Deliver Me" CD a couple years back, but missed out on everything. Between listening to this box set, that CD, and the reissue of "Jah Jah Way", I've been on a big Yabby kick lately.

Finally got a copy of this set, and think it's magnificent like everyone else. My only critique is the poor graphic design of the booklet, which might seem finicky, but it contains such great information and really needed more attention. However, the music is amazing, and that's what counts. 8)

Patience is the key, I paid about £10 in total for Jesus Dread and King Tubby Meets Vivian Jackson CDs a little while back from someone selling a collection at none rip off prices. Picked up a copy of Yabby You & Michael Prophet Meets Scientist ‎– At The Dub Station (King Tubbys) on Amazon about 8 months ago for 99p. Waited years to get that one on CD at a decent price and I was lucky enough to get the version that is the same of the Graylan LP (purple cover with Yabby and Scientist at Tuff Gong).

Seriously keep checking the likes of eBay, Discogs etc...

The only CD I have not been able to find at a decent price is Meets Tommy McCook in Dub Sounds of the 70s on Peacemaker. Regret letting that one go sometimes but I know I will find a copy at a sensible price at some point.

Question: "How Long" by Pat Kelly and "Rock Man Soul" by Jah Stitch are both Bunny Lee productions, right? Or at least they use Bunny Lee rhythms.
