Some very over priced stuff there, especially the reissues and Jimmy Cliff!

Pure rip off prices on that ebay link. Only an idiot would buy one of those crappy Johnny Osbourne shitty represses with horrible artwork, for $45.

Prices and other records aside, there are some pretty rare dub LP's for sale that you don't usually see...

"A fool and his money are easily parted" - so said someone who new a thing or two many years ago - and I should know as I have parted with more than I should have over the years! No one has to pay that much if they don't want to.

Having said that I would make the following comments:

(1) israeltafari - one of the best ever dub LP's - shouldn't be too hard to with a bit of looking to find a copy in that condition (bad sleeve) for less than a third of the asking price (2) tough guys in dub - always liked the cover but disappointing LP - probably the worst of the fatman riddim section outings, (3) downtown horns - has some extended instrumental/instrudub tracks - -worth having but should be possible to find in that condition for less than 50 quid, (4) rupie edwards - a basic but serviceable early 70/mid 70's outing - original came out on cactus - one for sale looks like 80's repress (5) tribulation dub - early 80's - worth having - shouldn't be too hard to pick up for around 40 quid (6) negus roots LP's - early 80's - robert "flako" palmer productions on to negus roots stalwarts like lacksley castell, voice of progress etc - again with a bit of hunting should be able to find a copies or less than 50 quid each................

While the prices on that link were a bit silly to say the least there was one LP I was going to mention. Dub Out Her Blouse and Skirt. I'm not claiming its particularly rare, or particularly strong but It's one I owned back in the day and I would like a copy again. It very rarely seems to show up for sale and does go for quite good prices - Popsike only lists two sales over the last few years.
I originally bought it after hearing peel play a track one night (probably true of a lot of my collection back then).

Since when were the prices in question? I guess that's one of the reasons not to post ebay links. Ruin a good thread cause everyone's mind on their money.

Would love to hear Joe Mansano Bullet Dub - anybody got any info or links to it. Can't even find what riddims are used.
