Chronixx on vinyl

Time for some praise for some modern JA music again. :D Great to see more and more of it getting pressed on good old 45s again, particularly by the good people of buyreggae.com! Here's a pic of the 45s by Chronixx, who I rate very very high (biggest new(-ish) talent out there by a mile), I've found and bought so far:

Chronixx - Ain't No Giving In (Chimney)
Chronixx - Here Comes Trouble (Overstand)
Chronixx ft. Sizzla, Protoje & Kabaka Pyramid - Selassie Souljahz (Royal Order)
Chronixx - Smile Jamaica (Silly Walks)
Chronixx - Thanks And Praise (Lifeline Music)

Tunes definitely worthy to be praised for quality and so worthy to be pressed! :-) Keep 'm coming! Did I miss any?

(some tuff tunes on the same riddims available as these and definitely worth picking up the 10" of Addis Pablo (son of) with melodica and dub versions to Selassie Souljahz in lovely picture sleeve)

Yeah, I'm loving having these new JA tunes on 7" again. I think you have probably covered all the Chronixx releases, I have also copped cuts on the Return Riddim, Moving Riddim, Another Dollar Riddim, Fire and Ice Riddim.

I think Buyreggae are responsible for all of these pressings. I'd love to see a discography!

BMC, I think your list is upto date and do not know of any more Chronixx singles to add that have been released on vinyl. It's strange because with this current breed of artists in the 'Reggae Revival' this is the first time in the history of the music where artists may not have hardly any material on vinyl...I think of artists like Jah 9 who only has 4/5 singles I can think of in my collection and only 1 single by Kabaka Pyramid.

Previous post/flyer was a plug for my show on Friday 11th October 2013 on www.reggaespace.com celebrating the works of Chronixx and Friends

It's off the Silly Walks double lp that came out in 2012 - "Storms of Life". I've been telling all who will listen what a great album that is. Seriously, just buy it if you can.

Yep, a number of the recent Penthouse riddims got pressed up by buyreggae, next to the two mentioned (Another Dollar, Fire & Ice) also No Money and 9.58 in recent years. I also bought cuts on the Rockfort Rock riddim on Lifeline Music recently.

In a mail conversation I had with them, buyreggae confirmed to be working on a lot more modern JA releases on 45s, but couldn't/wouldn't say which. Good news, I'd say.

The luciano and Louie culture is on a 12' is this mix the same as the one on silly walks album?

4 cuts on the riddim are out now on 2 45's (Chronixx, Morgan Heritage, Jah Cure, TOK).

Also out now is John John's Rub A Dub Style riddim on 4 45's (Chronixx again, Tarrus, Sizzla and more).

Nice!
