lol a few months ago Ras Muffet was a bit upset on Facebook about the Vampirization of his Shashamane sold by the same seller (and obviously by others like Awhodat)....and after promised to give a lesson to him the fake acetate was removed...

People beware of those scam plates , i assure you 99% of the times the people behind them have nothing to deal with the music on the plate...

a) how can he/they continue to list bootlegs(?) on ebay?

b) where does he/they get such a collection of dubplates

c) why cant we find the .wav files on the internet (this is the internet :) EVERYTHINGS out there, somewhere)

d) why doesnt the original artist release them - yes, i know they are suposed to be exclusive, but if they are 'out there' and someones making ALOT of money selling these bootlegs then i dont see why the artisit doesnt at least release the digital version.

i personaly havnt purchased any, but they do have always have some killer tunes listed and have been very tempted.

As Long as he is not banned from ebay he can.
This tune is not released, so ist really hard to get him banned from ebay for that.

Maybee he doenst have the right to do it, there are more than one Person involved in a tune. And, i mean this is Reggae dubplate buisness, sometimes ist just like it is

The one who paid 214 Pounds for it must be a complete fool, you cut get it much cheaper belive me, even if you cut them on Acetate. some just have a bad Money/brain rate

Are the physical slabs of dub not the owner's to sell if they paid fair money and no copies were made? If someone were trying to reproduce and distribute, that's a whole different story. But can't one rightfully sell a plate that they purchased? I personally wouldn't and I am asking an honest question. The seller is a long time boardie here. I know I'm not the only one who knows that. I mention that because I find it hard to believe this person is doing any shifty sh*t along the lines of making unauthorized copies or aquiring the dubs from questionable sources. When someone buys dubs there is usually an obvious and universal clause of not passing on the music whether stated or not. Has this become obscured since it sometimes ISN'T stated? Is there a problem if one doesn't take the purchased dubs to their grave? Interesting how no one raises an eyebrow when folks are selling second hand dubs that are sound specific.
