OT:Earthquakes in NZ

Postby j j » Sun Jul 21, 2013 5:27 am

Wow just had a severe earthquake a few minutes ago - 6.8 on the scale , whole house was moving lights swinging, missus screaming  certainly got the heart beating faster, centred at top of the Sth Island.

5.8 this morning which woke me up about 7am

Had another big one around 9 am on Friday 5.6 - had me running out of my workmates garage , he was stuck on the toilet  best place to be when it's a biggy!!!

check em out here http://www.geonet.org.nz/quakes/all

we not known as the "shakey isles" for nothing :D

Yes, but is your vinyl collection safe? You've got to look to what is most important at times like this! 8)
