Seems a bit surreal actually, especially remembering Esther Rantzen from the 70's.
I believe it was on the That's Life show that the first globe-trotting, postcard sending garden gnome was featured - now a staple of Expedia ads (at least I think it's Expedia).

Nice post!! crazy, i never knew she had locks and was thrown outta the BBC for it! the other big reggae head of the 70's was Janet Street-Porter...

She should do dubplates!!!lol it's nice to see she's introducing some Radio 2 heads to the genre, respect to her 4 spreading the word.
