Bass Culture Vol 1,2,3&4

Yesterday i bought these 4 compilations : :D
Bass Culture : This town is too hot! Vol1 , Boss sounds Vol2, When reggae was king Vol3, Mash you down Vol4
All in mint & sealed condition.
Could anyone give me some more info on this release?
I noticed that they cost quite a bit on amazon :shock:

Nothing other than they're fine compilations that appear to have had a very short shelf life. They were showing as out of stock on Amazon for months yet fairly easily available in second hand shops suggesting finished review copies had gone out but then something had happened to the release. Maybe I'm just being paranoid...anyway, well done for grabbing them

They are meant to be companion pieces to Lloyd Bradley's book Bass Culture. You were lucky to find all four! As discussed in a previous thread, there was some kind of licencing issue and so the set was quickly deleted before most people got a chance to buy them.
