That "Chase the Devil" story is a classic.

Now I have to spring for a copy of In This Time with Tribu Acustico. Thanks Alot! :D

My all-time favorite Romeo tune is "Jordan River" with Glen Adams. I wonder if the whole Hippie Boys were backing him up or just Glen Adams with the GG's studio band.

informer, serious thanks for the input, even though i'm sure you thought we wouldn't want to hear it.
yes, how we wish he was on a land line or better yet, in the KBOO studio with us, but instead, we called him at his home in JA and he answered on a cell phone. so, we made do with what we had.

hope it was engaging for those who could understand what maxie was saying!

I really enjoyed this! Editing the tracks into the interview is a great touch and allowed me to hear some Romeo tracks I wasn't familiar with. I listened with miserable laptop speakers and the phone fuzz still wasn't much of an issue. Thanks for sharing.

Finally found some time to sit down and listen to the interview. Having spoken a little with minidub regarding the interview prior hearing it I must admit I was expecting the phone recording of Max to be much worse than it actually was. It's not crystal clear but I have no problems at all in understanding what he says. Great work, Michele!

A fine & fun interview Minidub ! Very cool that you asked him about those specific lyrics - it's great to hear an interview[er] that puts some extra thoughts into something like lyrics of a particular song... you even caught Max by [happy] surprise :D

Was also interesting to hear how that Tribu Acustica set came about and that there are some mini Max Romeoes that may keep the fire [fi the vatican] burning one day

Nuff respect all the way around...
