Dub I.D.

Postby Ras Berry » Sat Dec 11, 2004 3:55 pm

I have this dub of an unknown tune on the back of Erick Clarke's "Fight Against Babylon" 7" on the JA Pioneer label - the matrix is SC 1967 B TSC RS

Starts off with about 30 seconds of unaccompanied vocal, sounding quite like Dennis Brown to my untutored ears

"Oooh well well, yeah yeah, yeaaaaaaahhhhh, yeah, weeeeellllllll, too-oo, too-oo, come on come on, come on come on..."

then the rhythm kicks in - a pretty brisk affair with some prominent hi hat and rhythm guitar, then a fairly funky bass line melody and some more of the scat-like vocals reappear about half way through...

Any ideas? :?
