*** ROOTS TONIC RIDDIM (Hi-Score) ***

Postby Rise Up Crew » Sat Dec 11, 2004 1:34 pm

Greetings !

After the successful debut with the Leader riddim earlier this year, it’s now time for chapter two in the Hi-Score Music saga.

The new project is called Roots Tonic. Laid down by Jamaica’s foremost session band, Fire House Crew, this deep and heavy live recorded riddim is now about see its release. Cuts from artists like Luciano, Junior Kelly and Anthony B contributes to the Hi-Score trademark; songs with meaning instead of hype and nonsense lyrics. It also features some young artists with great potential.

These are the first cuts up for release.

Line up :

01. Anthony B - Cant Stop Me
02. Jah Mason - Mi Chalwa
03. Junior Kelly - Rasta Should Be Deeper
04. Luciano - Ancient Memories
05. Military Man - Jah Guide
06. Queen Ifrica - Wipe The Tears
07. Tony Rebel - Take Care Of Yourself
08. Utan Green - Heading To The Top
09. Zahair - From The Realms

Yes, good things coming out from the Hi-Score label.

Leader riddim was a big riddim, my favourite piece is the Nitty Kutchie"Got To Be Strong In This Time", big pieces too from Anthony B & Jah Mason.

I'll be checking for these new riddims, keep up the good works!

Yes King,

"Leaders" was a good one but this "Roots Tonic" is more ina live roots style, a kind of following of the Pow Pow's "Superior" or "Blaze" riddims.....
One of the best riddim for 2K5. Fe real
