Is it the album with the pic of him in black and white pictured in a field full of weed? If that's it, I love the title track, beautiful, but found the rest only so- so...anyone else?

Kingsbread LP? Recorded at Channel One with Sylvan Morris on the control board. Not bad, but can't say I play it very often.

That's the one I reckon Ringo -- as I remember, it has some beautiful spiritual vibes as opposed to dj chants...is my memory right? I doubt Ive heard it since 1985 or so!

Yes, that's how I remember it, but it's been a while.

imo its a weak album... alimantado sings instead of deejays.. good year, good musicians and all that.. but what i call weak riddims... (two okay riddims.. "jah love forever", "mama i thank you" i think theyre called..which are ruined by his singing..IMO IMO IMO. ) my favourite tune is "just because a bit of bread"... which isnt a tenth as good as "born for a purpose"

i was disappointed with this LP. there must be lots more you dont have which could bring more smiles to your face than this one..

Right FTA, piece a bread is a nice one. I played the 7" of Mama the other day and remembered how poor it was.
Gimme mi gun, Poison Flour, Born for a porpoise.....plenty of goodies to get.
