An Onk should run all day at a high level.
I don't think you will have an over heating problem
an amp will sound and run better when warm,

unless youre totally underpowered and totally running into clip i dont think there is any problem running a decent consumer amplifier all night at high levels. i never had problems anyway, but then again ive not got the "usual" consumer equipment (eg: bi amped haffler/yamaha with nakamichi preamp and ESS electronic crossover, replacing Macintosh 240 pairs for woofers and dynaco stereo 120 for tweeters).

just hook it up using your twin speaker outputs and i think youre gold.

Zonard, tu m'as bien aidé sur ce coup. En francais en +, cool.

Regarding overheat point, I think this problem won't occure. I remeber parties at a friend place runing all night long with only a cheap amp. I'll borrow a second amp cause it could ruin the party if the problem occures. I don't want to take risk for my 30 years old party.

BTW, I search the Onkyo booklet. It says that I can plug two pairs of speackers only if they are 8 ohms min. Didn't found this specific info when I searched the first time. To be honnest I didn't even think it was on the booklet. Problem solved.

I also "test" my amp. With a vynil, using about 2/3 of the power available is by far enought.
