It's fantastic Dadi, buy with confidence. 5th Element crew coming on strong for 2005!

Other wicked tunes are "I Swear"(check for a riddim album on this riddim too), "Haffi Win" over a cut of Queen Majesty, "Serious Time" over a cut of Ali Baba, "The Prayer", "Jah Sight", "Poor People Cry" over new roots riddims, heck I don't think there's really a bad track on it!

One of the albums of the year.

Respect

Thanks Gordo, I have the "I Swear" VP double which I agree is a smashing set. It is nice to see that VP are realeasing concious material in the riddim driven sets. Hope there is more of this to come from the VP stable.

I have to check for that Fender set post Xmas.

Agree with Gordon, the Chuck Fender album is a good set, it has a high general level of quality and even the duller tracks are still quite listenable. Spinning "The Prayer" right now, BIG tune! Anyone know how the newish 5th Element Richie Spice set is?

And Digi, be sure to check for the upcoming Hard Times rhythm album on VP, that one is going to be loaded with crucial tunes.
What about the half that's never been told?

It would be nice to see VP, Jet Star or Greensleeves release more of the cultural types of rhythms, as opposed to the usual bashment collections...I for one would like to see one rhythm albums of some sets like the Father Jungle Rock & Mr. Greedy sets, some of the recent Digital B riddims would be great as well. Haven't heard the Chuck Fender album but Rough Out Deh is the best cut on the Cassandra relick that came out a couple of years ago, don't think any of the other tunes from the 5th Element 7's have made it to CD yet.
