Picked up a whole batch of good LP's, a few of them:

Aswad - New Chapter Of Dub (Island)
Creation Rebel - Dub From Creation (Midnite, dutch pressing)
Johnny Osbourne - Nuh Dis (Come Ya Fe Drink Milk) (Serious Business, 1989 King Tubby production)
King Oney - Country People We Love You (Raphael Stewart Records)
Lord Sassafrass - Poccomania Jump (Black Scorpio)
Prince Jammy - Dub War Vol. 1 (Vista Sounds)
Well Pleased And Satisfied - Give Thanks & Praise (Burning Sounds)

Very happy with these and all the other ones! Give thanks for good music!

Eptheeay: I really like it. It's more or less a collection of hits and songs produced for the album. Papa Levi was always an artist aiming very high and I think it shows. It goes from tough dancehall to rootsy vibes even touching hiphop (not a golden touch in any way...). From what I know of your musical preferences however I think it only will be one or two songs that really will interest you. If it's cheap buy it and try it but I wouldn't recommend you buying it if it wasn't a very good price. It's more for deejay fans -- major and minor chord rhythms.

Freddie McGregor - Mr. McGregor (Observer LP) £8. Haven't had time to listen to it yet but several of the songs are of course well know classics so I know what to expect more or less.

recently picked up Cutty Ranks 'The Stopper' LP on mint condition vinyl. £15. been after it for years. I'd only had the cassette since the mid-nineties. hearing it this crisp for the first time made me jump back from the speakers. Big up the Cutter and Dub Vendor/Fashion for the original release. Something special was captured here.
It is getting released digitally soon.

Lovely album that, Reggie. Couldn't believe my eyes when I found it in very good quality in a €2,- each bin at a fair here in the Netherlands last year. No other reggae whatsoever in there, just this at the front staring at me when I walked by. :D

Earth & Stone - Cool Roots double LP on Cha Cha for 18.00 pounds.

Been after this for ages - it sounds so much better than the re-issue.

Look How They Work Us So Hard - Little John (Hitbound 7")

One of those tunes I find myself humming periodically after its use on so many early dancehall live LPs/tapes, fnally got round to picking up the 45. Hard tune.

Raver - Shy FX (Digital Soundboy 10")

Bought it for the Many Changes In Life do over but enjoying the jungle cut to Hard Times too.
Purple Radio - Every other Wednesday 6:30 - 8pm http://www.purple-radio.co.uk

The reissue for some reason has drums missing at the start, some fade ins.. etc.. who knows why.. Kool Roots is one of my top 5 Reggae LPs.. and the dubs are a great 'bonus' coming in the same package..... top top stuff ..
