Can't argue with many of those choices - enjoyed the Abja 'Red Hour' release also. That 'War' tune is a killer.

May add some of these to my shopping list

4. Batch Who You Are SoundV.I.zion
6. Ras Attitude Love Life SoundV.I.zion
8. Army Struggler Dubrise

Any opinions on the above? Are we talking chanting/Dj or singing? Live band sound or digital?

Thanks
Rich

Batch: "Who You Are" A very solid production form start to finish. SoundV.I.zion is Batch's label, so naturally he saved a lot of super tuff rhythms for his debut album. Batch sings and play alot of the instruments.

Ras Attitude: Chants and sings. "Love Life" is his second album of the SOundV.I.zion label. This album has lots of heavy cuts including "Stop Chat" which is worth the price of the album by itself.

Army: Smooth Singer with a unique delivery. This is probably my favorite up and coming vocalist. Get your hands on any Army you can find.

I guess you could say live band sound tweeked with digital effects. Some tracks sound more digitized than others. This is definatley a modern roots sound with high production quality. Respect, MK
