Tune ID (Capleton??)

Postby Jugz » Fri Jan 28, 2005 12:15 pm

Heard a tune in a dance last night, sounded like capleton with someone else. The one lyric which stuck was (something like) "it's a small world." JA roots steppa riddim from 90s +. Need to get the name of the riddim!
If this rings a bell for anyone...

Cheers.

Big tune, big riddim! Get any 7" on it, they're all good.

Thanks Rootsman. I'm after the devastating cut I heard before the capleton piece it but I couldn't put my finger on the vocalist. Tune!

It's not on the flip of my I Wayne cut. Have I been burned for a next 7"?

Yep, as Lars says. The Hard Times riddim was so popular VP pressed a load of 7's of the same tunes on the riddim previously out on Gibbo, but with different a+b sides put together.

Ah, should have known it was VP pressing cuts back to back. The little tinkers.

Still, can't wait for them to re-issue a hot riddim. Up to the time...
