it's such a tough cut of satta, i imagine that those versions must be heavy indeed.

heptones love me girl / studio 1 cut..

the funny thing is that i enjoy a tune more when i own it (and listen to it more when i own it) rather than if i have it on mp3/audio cd from someone..

this riddim i didnt used to like very much but i love this tune so much now .. (maybe in the past i had never listened up to the part 'never let me down girl.....' which is for me the good part in the tune... (same with barringtons 'wedding ring'... its the part the music changes to ephteeay style) .. but i also love the lyrics cos im always in love! other (good)versions/cuts i have:

love me girl - heptones / big hit
wedding ring aside - b. levy / strong like sampson 12"
woman i love - michael prophet / lovelinch 12"
jah thomas - love night / jgm yellowman with toyan LP
mighty diamonds & i roy - love me girl / channel one economic 7"

and im sure there are more to get!!

That Frankie Jones track is rated as his best Gordo.

Midnite - Lion wares the crown

Stone heavy tune from one of the hardest groups around.

I assume most people here will already be singing the praises of this group - If you are unfamiliar with their work, you owe yourself to check some sound samples.

I can't wait for these guys to come tour in Europe - I'm told their live performances are something else.

Love to all
