Urgh E-bay is well annoying Lol I seen a few people who sell their clothes designs on there, and they're beautiful clothes too. But do they have them in my size? No! Being small is annoying. And they never have "Buy Now" prices on the really good stuff!!
Gordo - always try to place your bid as closer to auction end as you can - items that are getting early bids usually tend to end up higher as ebayers sometimes getting into "bid wars"...also if you bid early other bidders become aware that there is competition & may put higher final bids...offcourse that desirable items always would end up for high prices but this may help getting the less expensive items for reasonable prices...hope that makes sense :)
All is not lost, I've found a copy of the tune I was after for 15UKP, 12.50 more than I was going to get it for, but still a reasonable price and about a fiver cheaper than the final price on EBay + shipping.
The Dalston Dame has become somewhat addicted to She-bay and we now have a pile of Kilim (v.nice designs and good prices I have to say) rugs in the house that I had to spend the weekend de-dusting in the back garden with a clothes line and a cricket bat.
What the f*** we're gonna do with them I don't know
E-bay is pure danger my friends!!
Greetings to Mr Gutmacher......hope you're well down there on Sunset!
