yesterday received dhaima's "ina jah children" 7".. and decided to read more about her... unfortunately this is what i found out..

Thanks for that - it clears up why I couldn't find out anything about her on the net myself. The spelling on my 7" is 'Dyhema', which I don't think was even close enough to earn a "did you really mean..." prompt.

Thanks for posting that eph, I never knew any of that, she sounds like she was a strong and generous woman.

Ina Jah Children has been a long time favourite here aswell.

Acc. to RKR, aswell as 3 tunes for Joe Gibbs and 1 for DEB, she also released a tune produced by GBoswell called 'Jah Jah I' on UK label Paradise. Anyone heard this one?

That's the 7" I have, Ian. So if you want to check for second-hand copies of that one on the web, try searching on 'Dyhema' or similar variants rather than the correct spelling.
