are there different cuts of weedfields? meaning an old and a bit newer?

or is there only one?

i heard a 12" which a friend has and it sounded more modern than how i remembered it from back when i was a little youth (few yrs ago).. maybe i just remember it differently because i used to pay attention to different things in songs a few yrs ago.. thx.. nice tune anyway!!

My two oldies of the day;

Cornell Campbell - Make Hay
Moonlighters -- Money, We Haven't Got

I know nothing about the Moonlighters but love this song.

Wish I could carry on playing stuff in work.

weed fields 7" is a little different in the mix - the dub starts from beginning and the vocal has an end, both of which are chopped on the 12"...but the main thing is it sounds MUCH crisper...the OG 12" has a bit of a muffled mix, the 7" pops out of the speakers at you. It's the same cut, though.

That Errol Dunkley is definitely a top tune.

have you heard the later Moodies (UK) cut?

you should check that take if you haven't - seriously heavy.
