I have hunted this one out with no success Epht. If you have a chance jump on it. Quite a sought after LP which I understand is great by all accounts. It is a rare as hens teeth nowadays.

Haven't heard it - do you know who the producer is?
What about the half that's never been told?

Little John - Showcase 83 on EAD

FYI. The same album was released on (perhaps easier to get) Vista Sounds:

VSLP 4061 Little John - Unite
Tracks: Unite / Come On My Lover / You Are The One For Me // War In A Me Area / Africa Is The Black Man Land / Do Right
Produced by Anthony Dehaney
1984

I had the album when it was new, sold it a long time ago, because I thought I had too many Little John albums in my shelf and this was among the worst of them (imo then). I can't remember anything about the rest of the tracks, but I have this War In A Me Area as a Black & White 7" (prod. Carlton Patterson). That's a good tune on M16 riddim and maybe I thought it's enough from the LP. Despite the differences in producer credits the cut is exactly the same.

This LP is worth any price alone for War ina Mi Area... From memory the set was mixed by Sylvan Morris at Harry J and all tracks come with dubwise versions.

I'm not too crazy about it to be honoust. I have the Vista-version on a CD-R, but rarely play it. Gotta say though that usually an entire LP of Little John is a bit too much for me. War In A Me Area is a nice tune as said, as is Do Right imo, the other four are really average, also Unite even though it's on the Declaration Of Rights riddim.
