Just to put the info out there, "Right Time Rockers" is composed of sound-system specials cut by U Roy for King Attorney, later to be known as Socialist Roots. The rhythms are mostly from "Right Time" - not my favorite rhythms, but the dub mixes U Roy is chatting over are excellent. I think it's a solid set, not as good as his Treasure Isle stuff but worth listening to.
Also, this has been covered before, but I'll say it again:
Nu Roy IS NOT U Brown.
The voice is just different. U Brown has his charactaristic voice as early as his first single, Jamaican Tobacco / Wet Up Pants Foot, so it's not "early U Brown." Nu Roy has a distinctive, separate voice that appears on at least one single credited to his name as well as on that "Originator" LP.
What about the half that's never been told?
