Green Bay Killing

"10 songs recorded on the rhythm track made popular by Tappa Zukie's 'Green Bay Murder' and Glenroy Richards' 'Wicked Can't Run Away'.

"These 10 versions were recorded on the original 1978 rhythm. The original (and rare) Tappa Zukie track is included although the sound quality is poor because the master tape was lost."

[Ernie B's Reggae Distribution Inc]

I've always taken that last bit with a pinch of salt, though. Conventional wisdom seems to have it as an earlier Glen Brown rhythm (not Tappa's) and I'm sure I've heard clean versions of Tappa's original elsewhere.

it's glen browns b line, I helped him get some dosh from heavenly last year for the use of his melody, lauren hill also uses it on misseducation lp, although it's only hummed for a few seconds...
