My daughter (12 years) made a point of telling me the other night how "normal" it was to listen to reggae. She said it rather matter-of-factly and added it was despite the fact that none of her friends or their parents listened to it. (Proud moment I must say!) For years one of her favourite singers has been Hugh Mundell and she frequently asks to play My Mind from the Africa Must Be Free album. Both her and my son (10) like a lot of the B&F vocal sets; Max Romeo, Horace Andy, Congos. It's all good, I would say!
