Any chance someone out there can give me their views on the following 7" from Ernies ?
Steve Golding - Johnny Black - West Indian Sound 1975
Paul Davidson - Midnight Rider - Hometown 1974
Mark Brownlowe & Timbrell All Stars - Spirit - Timbrell 1980
Jr Blair - I Want Someone - Ossie Motion 1978

Paul Davidsons 'Midnight Rider' reached the lower end of the UK national charts, got it on a Tropical 45, its rubbish !

johnny black a poor youth lives in the ghetto ends up shot dead.
strange:
johnny black is a photographer for the judy mowatt 'only a woman' album as well as 'Who Feels It Knows It ' by Rita Marley, steve golding plays guitar on those albums (1980's albums, the 7" is from the 70's!).

Black Wax 7"s
I like the Leslie Butler one best as i've always liked J Mittoos Village Soul track & both sides of this Black wax 7"(from memory) are versions of Village Soul.
