are there any liner notes to the CD release?

if there is any info and someone has the CD any chance of a scan of the booklet via email?

Just the one page of liner notes mate, with a pic of Bobby Aitken and musician credits on the other side.

Charlie must have been off that week! :D

Nice CD, except for Roy Man - ugh!

The CD / LP came as you saw it & was released before I joined the set-up.

However, one thing I can say is that the band line-up quoted in the sparse sleeve notees (including a Mr. Iron Spratt !) were all made up by Bobby at the time of putting the LP together.

The late Winston Grennan was always Bobby's (The Carib Beat's) drummer, and I always recognise his drumming as he is the one who really slaps the snare drum when rimshotting (BMD - that's not a sexual term).

There were plans for a volume 2 but, allegedly, Mr. Aitken junior is quite difficult to deal with (being one thing) & getting the records to use being another (I once spoke to a collector who wanted £20-£30 a side to master up from - which would have make the producetion costs unfeasible).
