Leaving do music

Postby Anonymous » Fri Jan 14, 2005 3:26 pm

My friend and colleague has hired out a DJ bar because he's leaving my firm and wants to have a leaving do. He's really cheesed off with the job and is basically leaving for that reason.

I have agreed to play at the leaving do and I thought it might be nice to play a selection of tunes with appropriate lyrics. There must be loads. So far I've got (not in this order):

1. we've got to get out of this place - The animals
2. Hit the road hack - big youth
3. westbound train - dennis Brown
4. quittin' time - international kansas city playboys
5. brand new cadillac - the clash
6. 50 ways to leave your lover - simon and garfunkel

As always - your suggestions will be most welcome

Baldy.
