big up to the Irish contingent T-WOK and DIGI every time!

"most pretty girl you can't trust them at all...."

wicked tune!

the joyride is one hell of a riddim but I don't really consider it a bashment riddim what with the heavy bouncy bassline throughout an ting.

"Old" bashment tune for the day "Coca Cola Shape" by Simpleton....tune!!

Ragga circa 92/93 if it requires a label.

Its all Dancehall in my book. As i see (hear) it, what was called ragga is now called bashment, when you hear the riddim you'll know yourself !

yeah same here dots....ragga=bashment and vice versa...

bashment being a more recent term so I guess I think more of the current style but yeah to me it means your typical drum riddim, i.e. no bubbling rub-a-dub bassline like me love so much!!

respek.

Well, I do agree with the second sentence. I never call it anything else either. But regarding the term Ragga, its a UK thing solely (springing from the British obsession of labeling and sub-labeling just about everthing in front of their nose ) that partly spread over to Europe.

It was never called Ragga in Jamica, nor in the the US.
