It's O.V.Wright.

It's excellent.

Only 10 tracks but each track is around 5 to 7 minutes long.

Buy it!

I haven't heard this album but if it's from the late 70's he was very much in the end of his career, lost several teeth, addicted to drugs and he didn't sound very dynamic anymore. And he died soon after, RIP but it's painful to listen to a man that's only a shadow of his past glory anymore. Just another opinion, I'm sorry Gordy, you're a fan. I'm not. I prefer the earlier Back Beat recordings and that's enough from him for me.

Just dug this out this morning and Juha has a point, it's not "excellent" as I thought but it's still decent IMO, if it's cheap get it.

Gotta put the rose tinted specs away when it comes to my heroes!

Wouldn't dismiss all his late albums on Hi but this one isn't great. Worth getting hold of a collection called 'That's How Strong My Love Is'.
