Apropos comments on the Marley Over- or Under-rated Poll, I wondered what the BAF consenus is on this bunning issue.

I'ts the Island mixes for me, although i do prefer the JA mix on 'Stir it Up'..The JA mixes are still pretty good tho.

The JA mixes, even though the choice was not an easy one. The Island version was one of my very first reggae albums back in the 70's, so that is the one that sounds instantly "right".

Island mixes for me - mainly because these are the ones I'd known and loved for about 30 years before I got the JA mix edition :)

JA mix personally. Never could stand the overdubed rock and slide guitar on the island mix.
