Can anyone point me in the direction of books that deal with market spaces in London. I am particularly interested in fruit and vegetable markets,. I am also interested in the impact of immigrations on markest spaces. I f anybody has information on boo  ks or papers that address these issues and can point me in the right direction, I would be most grateful.

Thanks in advance.

For the social history The Museum Of London is probably the best bet:

Must surely be worth a trip to London for some 'primary research' Mick.

There's a lot of fruit and veg street markets near some record shops which also warrant 'primary research' while you're about it.
