searching for a thompson sound tune

Postby rumdrunk » Fri Jan 07, 2005 12:58 pm

hi people,

Im searching for a lovetune that is as a dub version on the b - Side of linval thompsons "curfew". Wayne wade has the tune "Suzie" on the same riddim.

i would really appreciate it, if anyone could help me with this.

the riddim goes by the name "curfew" and the lyrics i remember are something like that:

I saw you walking on the street, talking to you, ... (bla blub) ...
cause it's a bright day and the Sun is shining bright

bless up

Its only one of the greatest reggae sides ever - Freddie McKay's "Hey Stranger". The dub is on Dub Landing, don't know where to get the vocal cut, been searching for it for years myself!

"Hey Stranger" can be found on FM's 1985 LP "Tribal Inna Yard" on Move Records. Radics rhythms, produced by Delroy Wright and Linval Thompson.

The same tune, I'm presuming?
